Educated at Indiana University, Hebrew Union College, and JIL Jerusalem, Jeff brings several decades of senior management experience to nonprofit governance. A long-standing member of the American Management Association and a Certified Senior Advisor, Jeff holds a Life & Health insurance license with a focus on Long Term Care planning. In the private sector, Jeff served as Regional Director for a nationwide retail organization and later for a national insurance company, carrying full P&L responsibility and driving growth and expansion initiatives.
On the nonprofit side, Jeff has extensive board and leadership experience, including roles as Vice President of Administration & Operations, Vice President of Programming, finance committee member, and past President of Congregation Beth Shalom. Jeff also served on the development and oversight team for the California Partnership for Long Term Care. These roles underscore a strong track record in organizational oversight, financial stewardship, and governance.
An active participant in community and civic life, his personal interests include travel, reading, Israel studies, and both listening to and performing music. Jeff seeks to contribute board expertise in organization, oversight, finance committee work, and human resources.
